Boscombe

Boscombe was opened to passenger and goods traffic on 1^st June 1897.

From old photos I can say that it looks much like Branksome! It had many comforts for passengers including a covered in footbridge.

Many reminders remain in the area of the past station and tram depot, but most of the buildings have now gone – the station platforms, buildings & tramway depot.

There is still a small area where the station once was. Upon my last passing it was being used as a contractors yard.
